Been reading some Arthur C Clarke lately and I've been drawing a bit of inspiration from his writings. If you haven't read any of his sci-fi I suggest you check it out. Brilliant, addicting stuff. Oddly I didn't start with his classic 2001 a Space Odyssey (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/70535.2001), instead I started with Rendezvous with Rama (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/112537.Rendezvous_With_Rama) which is a great concept involving a sort of cylindrical space ark arriving in our solar system. I'll be posting it later tomorrow...I mean today (seeing as it is 12:39am) when it drys. Tried going for a slight Chinese influence on the style, but didn't quite achieve the look, so my dream of making a painting with of viking ship with a Chinese like style overall is still a dream...yet one must practice, one must practice. Screw practice, one must learn...wait learning involves practice...whatever...I give up...time to go read and browse art or something.
