Been doing a lot thinking about where I am spiritually in life lately. I don't think I'll ever have a set spiritual path, but lately I've been blending elements of Asatru, aka, Norse paganism or heathenism, with elements of Taoism and Zen Buddhism because it works for me. Sort of eclectic, but whatever.
On another spiritual note, I became an official priest of Dudeism (
dudeism.com/) back in February, which is inspired by the character of the Dude from the Big Lebowski (
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_…), zen, and Taoism. It even has it's own version of the Tao Teh Ching (
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tao_Te_C…), The Dude De Ching (
dudeism.com/thedudedeching/). Cool thing is with my priestly status I can legally perform marriages and other priestly duties, assuming that wherever I live accepts my official priesthood, which the county where I live in my state does.
Anyways I think my conclusion I was trying to get to in this post is that between my spiritual influences, I would have to say I'm headed for Dudehalla when I die...sort of a blend of nirvana, Valhalla, and paradise in general...in my mind...but it sounds cool!
